The SpermScope Reusable Cell Analysis Chamber is a precision optical device used in andrology laboratories for the assessment of sperm concentration, motility, and morphology under a standard laboratory microscope. Unlike disposable counting chambers that introduce variability, the SpermScope provides a precisely engineered fixed depth of 20 micrometres — the recognised standard for accurate sperm analysis. Its reusable construction makes it significantly more cost-effective while delivering consistent, reproducible results.
Compatible with WHO 2021 and WHO 2010 semen analysis guidelines, it can be used alongside Proiser ISAS counting chambers and the SpermTrack reusable counting chamber. In a UKNEQAS validation study, the SpermScope demonstrated performance comparable to established commercial chambers. The Proiser Trumorph and Proiser ISAS Cool3020 Refrigerated Microscope Stage complement the SpermScope in a complete andrology workstation setup.
