A liquid nitrogen face shield protects your face and eyes from splashing liquid nitrogen, which can cause severe burns and permanently damage eyesight. A full face shield must always be worn alongside cryogenic gloves whenever filling, decanting or accessing a cryogenic storage dewar. Standard safety goggles alone are not sufficient.
