A cryosleeve is a protective cover fitted over a cane or straw to shield the enclosed biological sample from physical damage and to help prevent cross-contamination between samples during storage and handling within a shared cryogenic tank. This matters particularly in busy laboratories where multiple patients’ samples are stored in close proximity, and where any risk of cross-contamination has to be minimised as a matter of both safety and regulatory compliance. Cryolab’s PVC cryosleeves and half cryosleeves are designed to fit standard and half-size canes respectively, giving laboratories flexibility in how they organise and protect stored material.
