Vessel storage in IVF laboratory cryopreservation refers to the long-term holding of frozen biological samples embryos, oocytes and sperm inside liquid nitrogen storage vessels at minus 196 degrees Celsius. Samples are loaded into labelled storage straws, organised into goblets and canisters, and placed inside the vessel for long-term holding. Vessel storage requires continuous temperature monitoring, regular liquid nitrogen top-up, documented traceability for each sample and validated alarm systems for temperature deviation. CryoNest and CryoCan vessels from Cryolab are designed for IVF laboratory vessel storage programmes. CBS Daisy Goblets and CBS Canisters support high-density sample organisation within the vessel.
