Cryotubes and cryovials are used to securely contain biological samples such as sperm, embryos, cells, and tissues during cryopreservation. Samples are sealed inside sterile vials before being placed into cryogenic storage tanks or dewars, where they are maintained at ultra-low temperatures in liquid nitrogen or vapour phase.
