The CryoStork range covers five models with internal capacities from 2 litres to 10 litres. Choosing the right model comes down to three things: the number of samples being transported, the dimensions and weight that suit your handling and courier arrangements, and the hold time required for your transfer route.

CryoStork V2

The V2 is the most compact model in the range, with dimensions of H: 398mm x W: 180mm. It suits single-patient or very small sample transfers where portability is the priority – a clinic receiving a single donor sperm delivery or dispatching one patient’s embryos to a satellite site. It is the easiest to carry by hand and the least disruptive to courier and airline handling.

CryoStork V3

The V3 at 3 litres and H: 441mm x W: 224mm is the most widely used model across UK fertility clinics. It strikes the practical balance between capacity, portability and hold time that suits regular inter-site transfers and routine sperm bank deliveries. One person can carry it comfortably, it fits in most courier vehicles without special arrangement, and the capacity handles the vast majority of single and small multi-patient transfers.

CryoStork V4 and V6

The V4 and V6 bridge the gap between the compact V3 and the high-capacity V10. They suit clinics and sperm banks running larger regular transfers where the V3 capacity is insufficient but the full V10 size creates unnecessary handling complexity.

CryoStork V10

The V10 at 10 litres and H: 584mm x W: 300mm is the high-volume option. Sperm banks, larger NHS fertility departments managing multi-patient batch transfers, and research institutions moving larger sample cohorts between sites benefit from the V10’s capacity and extended hold time.

The right model is not always the largest one available. A V10 used for a single-patient transfer adds weight and handling complexity with no clinical benefit. Match the vessel to the actual transfer volume, not the maximum possible volume.

All five models include round sample canisters for organised access and carry UKCA and CE markings. Optional aluminium-framed trolley cases with custom foam interiors are available for additional protection during transit.
