CBS Sterile Tubes are hermetically sealed cryogenic storage tubes that prevent liquid nitrogen ingress during storage at -196 degrees Celsius. Unlike standard screw-cap cryovials, the hermetic seal eliminates cross-contamination risk between samples in the same storage tank. Opened using the CBS SYSO Tube Opener and CBS High Security Tube Scissors, with tube inserts for specific loading. Recommended for HFEA-licensed IVF storage, semen storage tanks, and biobanks operating to ISO 20387 where closed carrier systems are a regulatory expectation.
