Real consumption has three parts, and most supply contracts are sized on one.

Static loss: what the datasheet gives you

This is what each vessel evaporates undisturbed. Add it up across every storage tank, supply vessel and bench dewar. Where no figure is published, measure it yourself. Fill, dipstick, leave alone for 48 hours, dipstick again.

Usage loss: what opening the lid costs

This is the one nobody counts. A working stock vessel opened twenty times a day can lose several times its static rate. Only a fill log will tell you: vessel, date, litres added, for one month.

Transfer loss: hoses, bench dewars and shippers

Nitrogen boiled off cooling equipment down before it does any work. Charging a dry shipper from warm consumes far more than its rated capacity. A laboratory shipping weekly should log this on its own line.

Then add a margin

Add all three, then add a quarter for summer ambient, vacuum degradation across the contract term, and the vessel you will buy mid contract. Size an on site CryoFill Series supply tank to roughly a week of that total and emergency deliveries stop.

The CryoFill Series runs from 100 to 500 litres, so there is a size to match whatever weekly figure your log produces.
